2. The Guardians And The Avengers

A perfect example of the crossover at its purest form is when The Guardians of the Galaxy will finally meet The Avengers in Infinity War.

These are characters that the audience has grown attached to in separate situations and movies over the last ten years and their coming together will be one of the best moments of the movie, much like when Jon Snow finally met Daenarys Targaryen.

The reason this meeting is so highly anticipated is that there are so many questions surrounding it. There could be any number of ways they are all brought together, though it seems likely Thor will be heavily involved, but how will they react to each other?

It is unlikely everyone will get on together straight away, so we could be in for another superhero fight in the same way Avengers Assemble began. Just picture the two leaders, Iron Man and Star Lord squaring off against each other, or Hawkeye shooting arrows at Groot and Rocket Raccoon.

This will serve to make it all the more satisfying when they ultimately put their differences aside to battle Thanos, since this is the only common ground they will share, and the threat of The Mad Titan will be enough to make the heroes forget their bickering completely.
