6. The Trailers Have Been Edited To Mislead Audiences
The Rumour: There's an extremely tantalising rumour doing the rounds right now, that Marvel Studios has intentionally misrepresented the film in order to surprise audiences.
You know that iconic shot of Thanos holding up the Infinity Gauntlet, with only the Power Stone and Space Stone in it? In the final scene, it's actually full up with all the Infinity Stones, but has been digitally altered to keep audiences from guessing that Thanos is about to murder himself some Avengers.
How Likely Is It?: It's an incredibly neat idea, and there is an existing precedent for this with Thor's missing eye being carefully edited out of the marketing for Thor: Ragnarok. Then again, fans could just be letting their wildest fantasies run away with them.
It'd be a glorious moment, but don't get your hopes up too high, because the scene could just as easily go down exactly as it does in the trailer. 5/10
