To say that Avengers: Infinity War demands your attention is something of an understatement. The Russos' ensemble is a comic book movie spectacle like no other, with the kind of scope and scale that are mostly unprecedented outside of the Lord Of The Rings franchise and action that grabs you by the eyeballs and takes you on a breathless hour-plus-long thrill-ride.

And despite the scale and the grandeur, there's no trade-off in smaller details and nuance. Even with the world going to hell with hundreds of characters at all out war with one another, it's the smaller, more personal moments that really stand out. That the Russos even manage to commit to them with so much going on is simply stunning.

With all of the action, of course, there's less space for little Easter Eggs and details, but there's definitely still a lot of them in there from pop culture references to more subtle direct homages from the comics Infinity War is based on. And it's absolutely worth going to see it a couple of times to try and pick up even more of those little rewards...

As with the pre-release 10 year celebration video that Marvel released to YouTube, the usual Marvel Studios logo at the start of Infinity War has been taken over with a red 10 in place of the I and O of the "Studios" to mark the occasion.

It's just one of those small touches - like removing the fanfare from the MCU animated opening - that makes this feel like something new and different.
