34. Iron Man

Confirmed By: Robert Downey Jr's contract, basically.

This bumper deal runs through both of the next Avengers films, and there is no way he's going to appear in Spider-Man: Homecoming and then die and not appear in Infinity War. That would be an almighty - and suicidal - kick in the testicles.

Plot Prediction: After mentoring Peter Parker, Tony will reappear in Infinity War to field questions from the government on why he let the other Avengers go, and to further wrestle with his thoughts on superhero registration and control. Presumably, he's going to be facing a lot of fires and pressure to further adhere to restrictions, given that the world probably still thinks the heroes are now villains.

He also probably has to pick up the pieces in Rhodey's life (though he's not confirmed, he's probably going to be in some way involved), and rumour has it we might see more of his relationship with Pepper Potts (for a couple of seconds, probably).

And that's without the impending doom brought by Thanos and the need to turn into Nick Fury and get the band back together.
