19. Mantis

Cause of Death: Disintegrated.

Mantis (Pom Klementieff) is the first Avenger to die on Titan, as she tells her comrades, "Something's happening", and before she has any more time to react, she turns to dust.

The sense of fear in her voice is palpable, and her being the first casualty on Titan was a smart move, as it kept audiences on edge waiting to see which higher-profile members of the team would be joining her.

Sure, Mantis isn't exactly one of the movie's MVPs, but it was still disturbing to see a quirky comic relief character disappeared in an instant.
