14. The Defenders

Trying to stop the Hand (yawn) from destroying New York by harvesting dragon bones (yeah, it wasn't the BEST storyline, was it?). They won the day but Daredevil died for about four minutes.

Meanwhile, The Punisher was last seen punishing anyone who gets in his way. None of them turned up when New York was attacked by the Black Order, because apparently they only deal with small street-level threats like dragons.

Will They Be Back?

Nope. It's not possible, no matter how much we all want to see the good Defenders join up with the Avengers. They'll see the cost of Infinity War in their own shows, but in a surprisingly minimal way, as ever.
