45. Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch)
Status: Confirmed
Thanks to the trailer and the LEGO leaks, we know that Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum in New York is going to be attacked by one of the invading Black Order - which brings together Tony Stark, Spider-Man, Bruce Banner and Strange - as Thanos seeks to get his hands on the Eye Of Agamotto.
On top of that, we also know that Strange will be put in prettygrave danger by Ebony Maw - the Black Order's least physical member - who will come for the Eye himself.
44. Wong (Benedict Wong)
Status: Confirmed
As the trailer has confirmed, Wong will be beside Doctor Strange throughout Infinity War (there's no way they'd kill him with the sequel set to be officially announced any day now - plus they fake killed him in the first movie anyway).
It's literally his job to defend the magical artefacts at Kamar-Taj, so it'll be on his head if the Eye is lost (assuming it's not taken from around Doctor Strange's own neck).
43. Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams)
Status: Unconfirmed
She's a slightly more left-field choice, but each of the Avengers (and the new recruits) will have some sort of personal stake in protecting the Earth, and while he's notoriously not that great at making close personal relationships, Strange does have former girlfriend Christine Palmer.
Whether we'll see much of her remains to be seen (it's unlikely) but she should be there to offer an emotional anchor for him, even in passing.
