Avengers: Infinity War Trailer Reactions - 7 Ups & 3 Downs
1. Spidey Zings Doctor Strange
The trailer ends on an hilarious final zinger which provides a little more hope that most of the character interactions are going to be a little wittier than the mediocre aforementioned exchange between Star-Lord and Iron Man.
Spidey introduces himself to Doctor Strange as Peter, to which Strange replies, "Dr. Strange". Peter, not realising that this is Strange's real-life salutation, quips at him, "Oh, we're using our made up names. Then, I am Spider-Man", before Strange rolls his eyes.
To date the Russos have managed a firm tonal mix of seriousness and wit without ever going full Joss Whedon, so hopefully that'll continue in their most challenging assignment to date. Fingers, toes and everything else are crossed.
