Batman And Harley Quinn Movie Casts Big Bang Theory's Melissa Rauch
Big Bang Theory's most annoying voice might well be perfectly cast
A new Harley Quinn has been cast, and she's got the perfect kind of annoying voice.
Empire Magazine have revealed that The Big Bang Theory actress Melissa Rauch will be playing the Joker's most famous lover and lending her immediately recognisable pipes to upcoming original animated movie Batman And Harley Quinn:
"I love that Harley is a badass and, beyond that, that she uses her humor as another weapon in her arsenal. She knows just how to diffuse a situation with her humor, and how to incite a situation with her sarcasm. It's a dream role."
She's got a great nasal voice - which she actually puts on for The Big Bang Theory - and it's certainly smart casting since she's supposed to be annoying as a character.
The film - which follows excellent animated movies Batman: Assault On Arkham, Batman vs Robin and Batman Bad: Blood (as well as the controversial, divisive The Killing Joke), will follow Kevin Conroy's Batman and Loren Lester's Nightwing as they team up with Harley to avert a catastrophe of Poison Ivy and the Plant-Master's making.
