The Waynes are the Rockefellers of their world. Theyre Gotham Citys saviors. The Long Halloween, a celebrated and classic Batman graphic novel, really presented the Waynes, particularly Thomas Wayne, and their impact on Bruce. Batman Begins did a great job showcasing how they sort of watched over Gotham and held it in the highest regard. But, Id love to see various flashback scenes of how Thomas and Martha raised Bruce and their struggles with trying to help a city full of decadence. It would be beneficial to see how Bruce watched as his parents failed somewhat at saving Gotham. Thomas Wayne has a storied history himself. Id love to see remnants of that in the reboot.
