7. Will Magnus

Scoot McNairy€™s current day job is as an outcast genius computer developer on AMC€™s Halt And Catch Fire. Though he might prefer to veer a bit from the same type of role, there€™s no denying that character€™s similarities with Dr. Will Magnus.

Magnus is a brilliant inventor and father to the Metal Men, a heroic team of robots resembling metallic alloys. He€™s also majorly connected to Cyborg, a hero who€™s sure to play a massive role in the DC world going forward. Somewhat like a more pleasant Dr. Frankenstein, Magnus is one of the smartest men in the DCU.

Speaking of the DCU, there€™s always need for developmental scientists and roboticists at places like LexCorp and Wayne Enterprises. This role could be perfect, allowing McNairy to go toe-to-toe with Jesse Eisenberg and Ben Affleck, all the while potentially setting up Cyborg€™s inclusion at the end of the film.
