Beyond all of the concerns about plot implications and character inclusions, all of these questions stem from one broad concern: will the movie be good? The promotional material all looks promising, but thats the point. Since we're still a couple of weeks away from release, there have understandably been no official screenings yet, and thus, no real critical sense of how good it's going to be. The safe bet is that at worst it will be on the level of Man Of Steel. And while that movie had its flaws, it was generally enjoyable and did a lot of things well. Presumably, Snyder has only learned from that experience and the additions of Batman as well as Oscar-winning screenwriter Chris Terrio surely suggest the film is going to be a marked improvement. Ironically, despite this being such a big question, it may be the first one that gets answered. At this point, so close to the release, specific details will likely stay secret but the first thing to leak out will be the general reception by critics. More than anything, the answer to this question could set the stage for the entirety of the DC Universe going forward.
