The trippiest moment in the movie comes when, following the Knightmare sequence, The Flash appears before Bruce and warns him of a coming danger, explaining that Lois is the key and implying that he should seek out the other members of the Justice League. Though there's a lot of ambiguity in the sequence, namely whether it was The Flash using time travel or merely some sort of dream, it's clearly hinting at Lois having a much more significant part to play in Justice League. Considering how pointless so much of Lois' role in Batman v Superman felt, hopefully this'll mean that Justice League won't continue to squander an actress of Amy Adams' talent. At the same time, though, we hope she gets a little more agency next time and doesn't become a damsel-in-distress once again.
