Only in a comic book movie could you expect so much fuss to be made about a characters appearance. Of course, in this instance, its not an issue of a drastically different costume or a race change, its whether or not Lex Luthor will be bald. This may sound trivial, but to fans, this is a classic and essential element to the character. After all, weve already famously seen this trait ignored once. The first image of Luthor depicted him as bald and a photo of the cast from Now You See Me: The Second Act, a movie he filmed alongside Batman V Superman, likewise shows Eisenberg sporting a buzz cut. Naturally, this caused some confusion when the trailer was released and Luthor could clearly be seen with long, flowing hair. Theres two likely explanations for this. The first is that its a wig. Luthor is notoriously vain and surely he would seek to hide such a physical imperfection. The other possibility is that he in some way loses it to kryptonite poisoning. Hes clearly going to be spending some time with the material so perhaps he will suffer its effects. No matter the case, its exciting to think that at some point in the film, well get a faithfully-depicted Lex Luthor.
