1. A Better Third Act
If there was one universal criticism of Man Of Steel, it was the climax. From the wanton destruction to the over-reliance on CGI to Superman killing Zod, there was a litany of different headachesplaguing the third act of the film. Ironic, since Superman Returns faced the exact opposite criticism. Evidently, people want some action, just not too much, and Batman V Superman desperatelyneeds to find that balance.
The good news it that, since this is such a general criticism, theres so many different ways to address it. Simply making the conflict a little smaller and more personal could help, as could having the heroes show a little more effort in isolating the conflict and protecting the people. A more practical approach to certain effects could also work wonders to helping change people's minds about the action.
Its hard to believe that Snyder didnt hear the criticisms for this one and act accordingly. Hes definitely capable of some outstanding set pieces sohis ability to stick the landing on Batman V Superman could very well be the key towinning over general audiences.
