The Scene: Now, this scene sadly won't be with us until the R-rated, three-hour director's cut of Batman V Superman arrives on home video, but we'll eventually get to see Jena Malone playing Barbara Gordon, Commissioner Gordon's daughter who of course becomes Batgirl. Why It Should Be Awesome: Though the context of Gordon's role is totally unknown, there are a number of tantalising possibilities, namely that she could be set up to help out the Justice League in their movie, or that she could have suffered the iconic fate from The Killing Joke, where she was shot in the spine and rendered paraplegic by The Joker. What Could Go Wrong: If the scene was cut from the "proper" movie, then perhaps it's the film's weakest scene, feels unnecessary, or Malone's performance is a little off-note. And then there's the possibility that Barbara seems like a token addition to a movie already jam-packed with subplots.
