Batman V Superman: Power Ranking Every Character

Batman V Superman may merely be the precursor to the main event that will be the two-part Justice League saga, but it will see Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and possibly other superheroes sharing the big screen for the first time, all while facing off against Lex Luthor and least one other iconic supervillain. Whether the movie lives up to the hype or not, audiences are going to be there day one to see Superman punching things, Batman (somehow) holding his own against the Man of Steel, and Wonder Woman probably keeping the team together. So, who is the toughest and most powerful main character in the fast-growing DC Extended Universe? Who is the weakest? And considering that many of the featured characters are brand new to the big screen, how closely will they follow the source material? There's plenty still left up in the air, so using some deduction from interviews and a little guesswork, we've compiled a definitive line-up for one of DC's dream projects. 10. Lois Lane

Lois Lane just about makes it onto the list because, in addition to being a main character, she proved her worth beyond the Pulitzer Prize-winning sort in Man of Steel, escaping from Zod's ship with a little more agency than a mere damsel-in-distress as the character has been in previous iterations. Plus, from what we've seen so far, she seems to have a continued, action-orientated role in BvS, getting thrown into some water and squaring up against Lex Luthor at one point. Though she won't stack up anywhere compared to pretty much any other major character on-screen, she's still pretty plucky for someone who's strictly human and doesn't have a huge bank account or a fancy battle suit. Bravo.
