And finally, the biggest problem with the movie is that Warner Bros. have been jealously seething about Marvel's immense success with the MCU and want a slice of the pie for themselves. Naturally, if they take their time they can certainly make that happen, but considering that Batman V Superman is just the second movie in the DC Extended Universe, to throw Wonder Woman, Cyborg and Aquaman into the mix feels they're trying to do too much too soon. In their attempt to rush to catch up to Marvel, they could end up tripping over their own feet, especially considering that everyone but Superman and Wonder Woman will not have had their own introductory solo movie before Justice League Part One comes out. Sure, Snyder could pull off a minor miracle and make the puzzle pieces all fit together perfectly, but it's hard to reject the feeling that this is too much too soon, and it's going to feel massively underwhelming as a result. It's likely that Batman V Superman would probably function better on its own terms without the Justice League trimmings, but we'll see for ourselves soon enough...
