By now I'm sure you're all aware of Warner Bros.' decision to move their Man of Steel sequel, tentatively titled Batman Vs. Superman, from its July 2015 release date to May 6, 2016. As is the case with most of WB/DC announcements, the knee-jerk reaction online has been pretty extreme, and for some bizarre reason seems to be fueling the concerns some have for this movie. WB released a statement about the decision, stating that the ten-month delay will "allow the filmmakers time to realize fully their vision, given the complex visual nature of the story." If anything, this news should have eased the worries of the film's biggest detractors, but has only added fuel to the fire of scepticism surrounding the production. Even if the production is in trouble, a ten month delay will only benefit the final product and give Zack Snyder and co. a chance to craft the best film possible. So, without further ado, here are four reasons why the Batman/Superman delay is a good thing.
