The palace of Aladdin's Sultan actually appears twice in the film, proving it must have been a favourite of the animators.

During the "Be Our Guest" sequence, Cogsworth casts off his initial reluctance to participate with aplomb, announcing himself with a grand entrance wearing a turban and bursting out of a palace. The palace, again, looks like Agrabah's finest.

The turban too matches the design of the one worn by Aladdin.
