18. The Broadway Song

There are a couple of nods in the final film to the Broadway show version of Beauty And The Beast, which has always been wildly popular. Though no songs were adapted for the live action film, there's a musical cue in there from the stage show.

When Belle is taken to her bedroom for the first time by the enchanted servants, the song "Home" from the stage show can be heard playing.

And it's not the only nod. Later when we learn the story of Madame Garderobe the wardrobe, it transpires that she was an opera singer unfortunate enough to be visiting the castle when the curse happened - that too is a story detail taken from the stage show.
