15. Cogsworth's Wife

In The Original

In the animated version, Cogsworth is probably best considered a confirmed bachelor, and the only personal relationship we really see hinted at is with Lumiere. They're sort of like warring brothers.

In The Remake

Despite some assuming that the casting of Gay Rights Activist Sir Ian McKellen and the news about a gay character in the film would mean Cogsworth's sexuality would be confirmed, he's apparently in a relationship with a woman.

His "wife" rather unfortunately, is basically the worst person in town. Which sort of makes it hard not to wish he wasn't allowed to be with Lumiere really.
