3. Toros - Anora
There's certainly some room for debate about who the real villain is in Sean Baker's Oscar-winning Anora, though the most apparent antagonist is surely Toros (Karren Karagulian), the "fixer" employed by Vanya's (Mark Eydelshteyn) father to find him and get his recent marriage to Anora (Mikey Madison) annulled.
Toros spends basically the entire movie on the back foot, exasperated at how much of a wild goose chase this job sends him on, enough that the poor guy can't even conduct a baptism in peace without being called away.
To be clear, Toros is far and away the funniest character in the movie, but he's also still got a job to do, and doesn't care much for the titular character's unwillingness to help him.
He confiscates Anora's wares, gags her, and holds her against her will, so he's certainly not a good dude, but he is nevertheless an all-timer example of a henchman whose personality makes him so much more than your average rent-a-goon lackey.
