17. Milton Rockwell - Marty Supreme
Though genuinely likeable characters are tough to come by in Marty Supreme, the most detestable of the lot is surely Milton Rockwell (Kevin O'Leary) - a predatory, influential businessman who attempts to exert control over Marty (Timothée Chalamet).
While many found it distracting that Rockwell was played by polarising Shark Tank investor Kevin O'Leary in an undeniable feat of stunt casting, it's tough to argue with the very believable, calculating menace of O'Leary's performance, which doesn't seem many measures removed from his true self.
There's a fully hypnotic quality to the scenes where Rockwell bristles up against Marty, culminating in the instantly legendary exchange where Rockwell professes, "I was born in 1601. I'm a vampire. I've been around forever."
Hilariously, Josh Safdie did toy around with the idea of confirming Rockwell to be a vampire in the final scene by having him take a literal bite out of Marty, though rather sensibly decided against it.
All the same, regardless of your opinion on O'Leary himself, he absolutely crushed this part and made Rockwell an incredibly distinctive riff on the familiar "rich a**hole" archetype.
