20 Totally INSANE Moments From Recent Horror Movies
9. The Nazi Massacre - Silent Night, Deadly Night
The recent reimagining of infamous yuletide slasher Silent Night, Deadly Night was a shockingly solid outing which opted for a more savagely satirical, supernaturally themed remix of the original premise - and mostly for the better.
One big change from the original is that our Santa suit-wearing serial killer, Billy Chapman (Rohan Campbell), largely only kills "bad" folk this time around, the most unhinged expression of which sees him slaughter a room full of literal Nazis.
Midway through the movie, Billy comes across a group of locals having a secret Christmas party while kitted out in full-on Nazi regalia and extolling the virtues of a "white power Christmas."
That's all Billy needs to hear before he picks up his axe and starts hacking his way through the degenerate assembly.
And to make it all even more hilariously chaotic, the party's mistress starts blindly firing her machine gun in the area, in turn killing a bunch of her own guys, before Billy cuts her head off.
That's certainly a decisive way to get the audience on Billy's side, that's for sure.
