15. Lucas' Death - Scream 7

Scream 7 was a big 'ol mess and firmly took the crown of franchise-worst entry from the divisive Scream 3, per its thunderously lame killer reveal and embarrassing AI subplot.

Yet there is one single kill in the movie that gets right under the skin with its creative brutality.

Later in the film, one of the more obvious potential killers, Lucas (Asa Germann), ends up being attacked by Ghostface in a bar, where he's picked up and impaled on a sharp bar tap, causing a gnarly combination of blood and foam to pour out of his mouth.

It's pretty cartoonish stuff even for Scream, but one of the few death scenes in the movie that has much of a visceral kick to it. 

Plus, it becomes even more effective once we learn that the killer was Lucas' own mother Jessica (Anna Camp), who felt that Lucas was too much like his abusive father, who she also previously killed.
