2. Terrifier 4

From the moment that Terrifier 3 was released and grossed a sequel-guaranteeing $90 million worldwide, fans were eager to find out when they'd get to see Terrifier 4.

Though many hoped it'd arrive sometime this year, filmmaker Damien Leone recently confirmed it'll be landing in 2027 - likely around Halloween.

What's especially intriguing about Terrifier 4 beyond the expected mean-spiritedness, insane gore, and David Howard Thornton performance, is that Leone has called it the final installment in the franchise.

Rather than milk Terrifier to death with eight or nine sequels, he seems intent on tying things off at four films - at least for now - and so one can assume Terrifier 4 will deliver some sort of closure to the stories of both Art the Clown and heroine Sienna Shaw (Lauren LaVera).

Leone has also promised that the sequel will begin by detailing Art's backstory, finally giving fans seemingly concrete answers for how he came to be.
