1. Beyonce Is Involved With The Film...Somehow
The Rumour: And finally, the most peculiar rumour to pick up significant traction in the weeks leading up to Black Panther's release was that Beyonce would be involved in the film in some capacity.
On Instagram and in public, the singer was spotted wearing a suspicious amount of Black Panther-themed jewellery and accessories, fuelling rumours that she either had a role in the movie, or far more likely, would be working on the soundtrack.
The Truth: Mercifully, Bey is nowhere near the film performance-wise, but more surprisingly, she's also nowhere to be heard on its soundtrack album, with Kendrick Lamar curating the soundtrack album, while Ludwig Göransson provided the musical score.
Honestly, Beyonce's presence, even in mere song form, probably would've made the film feel a little too commercial, so it was probably for the best.
