9. A Truly Great Villain

It goes without saying that a lot of people think Marvel have a problem with villains. Even in the best MCU movies, it's hard to pick out many more brilliant bad guys beyond Loki and Vulture, but they've got new company now thanks to Michael B Jordan's Killmonger.

Critics and fans have been positively falling over themselves to pick him out for specific praise...

The best thing to note from that is the suggestion of emotional depth: all of the best villains have a note of sympathy to them, and that complexity is definitely welcome.

Jordan's performance obviously also helps...
