7. Zuri Is Obi-Wan (And Is Doomed)
In The Trailer
The trailer offers the first sight of Forest Whitaker's Zuri, who was a close ally of T'Chaka and will apparently be a guide to T'Challa as he deals with his leadership issues.
The trailer also shows him in the midst of a ceremony, which has been revealed to be the source of the key Heart Shaped Herb formula that gives Black Panther his super strength and powers.
What It Means
In other words, Zuri is basically Obi-Wan Kenobi in this universe: he knew the hero's father closely, he's the key to understanding the mystical elements of the story and he's old and wise (okay, so he's also a little bit Yoda).
In some other other words, he's definitely doomed, as his death would mean a lot to T'Challa's evolution into Wakanda's real leader, as well as offering really tangible emotional trauma.
