3. The Superb "Making Of Bohemian Rhapsody" Montage

By far the best sequence in the entire movie is a lengthy scene devoted to the creation of Bohemian Rhapsody itself.

Through an hysterical, ludicrously entertaining montage, we see the band coming up with all the consitituent elements which comprise the song, while Mercury insists on yet more and more layering to the operatic vocals.

Considering that most of the movie covers their music in only a very broad sense, it was great to see this delineated sequence bog itself down in the more technical minutiae of the band's genius.

For another band it might seem a tad self-indulgent, but considering the near-universal, show-stopping appeal of the song, it's nothing short of fantastic.
