After a long wait since the release of last year's Thor: The Dark World, the next movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe canon - Captain America: The Winter Soldier - hit UK shores last week. Poised as a relentless action flick with overtones of the '70s political thriller, the movie has emerged as one of the best and most accomplished MCU entries to date - a brilliantly fun superhero adventure worthy of the likes of both The Avengers and The Dark Knight. The idea of universe expansion is something that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has become known for and the seeds for potential future movies are always planted in MCU offerings - and this movie was no different. It left us with all kinds of questions about what might happen in the future, thanks to newly introduced characters, unfinished business and name-dropping (and some mid-credit and post-credit scenes that really whet the viewers' appetites). Some movies, such as Age of Ultron and Guardians of the Galaxy, are already in place and we're already aware of the kind of things that we will learn in when they're released, but Captain America: The Winter Soldier left us with questions that won't be answered until after those movies have been released. Needless to say that this article contains spoilers for Captain America: The Winter Soldier and should be avoided if you haven't seen the movie and don't want to know what happens...
