Spider-Man AKA Peter Parker is one of two future Avengers who will be making his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Captain America: Civil War, so there's absolutely no chance he will die - not least because he has a solo movie coming in 2017. English actor Tom Holland will portray the Webbed Wonder and will probably only have a minor role in Civil War (literally nobody knows exactly the extent or nature of it at the moment), but he definitely won't be dying. In fact, following his solo movie, Holland's Spidey is likely to go on to become the face of the MCU. The likes of Robert Downey, Jr. can't continue forever (he's 50 already, for example) and, as the franchise moves into a new era after the huge event that is the Infinity War, some young blood is going to need to carry the torch. As Marvel's flagship character, it's only right that Spider-Man will go on to be the star of the company's flagship movie franchise, now that the rights to the character are no longer under Sony's sole jurisdiction.
