4. It IS Better Than Batman V Superman

It might seem like kicking an easy target, but it's hard to resist the inevitable comparisons to Batman v Superman, given the film's proximity and the shared ideas. And unfortunately for Warner Bros, the comparisons aren't exactly favourable for BvS.

Devin Faraci's assessment that it feels like a repudiation of Batman v Superman should be uplifting to anyone left disappointed by Snyder's sequel. And though it is perhaps cruel, there's a distinct appeal to hoping that Civil War's potentially better performance might see Warner Bros move in a different direction for the DC Extended Universe.

He's not the only critic to have talked up the parallel (and you have to suspect he won't be the last)...
