1. Mid-Credits Scene: Carol Meets The Avengers
And though the post-credits scene is ultimately just throwaway, the mid-credits scene sure made an impact.
The brief sequence shows Cap, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), and Rhodey (Don Cheadle) in the present day, having somehow gained possession of the pager Nick Fury used to message Carol.
After the pager turns itself off and they attempt to restart it in order to send another distress call, they're startled by the arrival of Carol, who simply asks, "Where's Fury?" before we cut to black.
Yes, this is most likely a scene ripped straight from Avengers: Endgame, but it certainly did a fine job of heightening the intrigue even further for Carol joining The Avengers.
