10. How Do Carol & Nick Fury Meet?
The trailers have been curiously sly about revealing exactly how Carol Danvers ends up crossing paths with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), instead showing them already somewhat acquainted.
So, how do they actually meet?
We know that Carol is the first superhero a world-weary Fury ever meets, and it appears to renew his resolve as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. The specific circumstances of their first encounter, however, are a little tougher to figure out.
Perhaps the most likely answer is that Fury responds to a Skrull incident on Earth which Carol is involved with.
The trailers have shown Carol crashing to Earth in the middle of the night and battling the Skrulls around Los Angeles in her Kree Starforce uniform, so it's not inconceivable that the pair first connects at the end of this sequence.
It's possible Carol is about to be subdued (somehow) by the authorities when Fury intervenes by flashing his S.H.I.E.L.D. badge and decides to bring her in.
