3. John C. Reilly Cameos As Rhomann Dey
The Rumour: After the January release of Captain Marvel StarForce Mission Log, a novel written from Carol Danvers' perspective, the book's inclusion of Nova Corps member Rhomann Dey prompted speculation that John C. Reilly might reprise his role as the character from Guardians of the Galaxy.
The Truth: As fun as a Reilly cameo would've been - especially as Rhomann was quite possibly killed when Thanos sacked Xandar in pursuit of the Power Stone - this sadly didn't come to pass.
Fingers crossed we might finally learn one day what happened to him, and it might not be the terrible news we're all suspecting.
In fact, if Marvel Studios ever pulls the trigger on a Nova movie, there's a pretty strong chance we will see Dey again (as Nova inherits the title from him). Here's hoping.
