Chris Pratt Wants Star Lord To Team Up With The Punisher In The MCU

When love and hate collide...

As Vin Diesel confirmed rather prematurely recently, the Guardians Of The Galaxy will be taking part in Avengers: Infinity War, and inevitably, people have started to try and get further reveals out of the stars. A new interview from WGTC has done just that, asking a back-door question to Chris Pratt to try and get him to confirm either his own involvement or another character he knows to be involved by asking who he's looking forward to fighting with.

Media journalism is now a sparring match on the hunt for exclusives, you see. After freezing up and worrying about saying the wrong thing, Pratt side-stepped impressively to confirm that he'd love Peter Quill to meet The Punisher in the future.

Let's be perfectly honest here, it's not happening - not unless something dramatic changes in the immediate future of the MCU and the relationship between the TV arm and the films. But it's a nice idea all the same.

We've already pretty much had a guarantee that The Defenders won't appear in Infinity War, and you have to suspect that Pratt has purposefully chosen a character he knows won't be involved to avoid being told off by Marvel. But there's always a chance that we'll see an Avengers/Guardians/The Defenders team up in the future.

If the fans shout hard enough, at some point Marvel will have to pay some attention.
