14. Black Adam Won't Appear In Shazam!
The only reason most people are excited about the upcoming Shazam! movie is because it's going to see the superhero facing off against Black Adam, who has long had Dwayne Johnson ready to suit up for the role.
However, DC chief creative officer Geoff Johns confirmed that Johnson actually wouldn't be appearing in the movie, stating, "Dwayne isn’t going to be in this movie. He's still doing Black Adam, but he won't be in Shazam!"
Johnson will likely first appear as the character in his own standalone movie, but there are also rumours he may show up first as the villain in Man of Steel 2.
Either way, it's a bit of a blow for Shazam! really, as such an unknown entity to casual comic book fans would certainly have benefited from having such a monumental movie star among its cast.
