Cool Stuff: From The Beautiful To The Bizarre - Polish Movie Posters

After the decidedly poor reaction to that apparently unfinished and unauthorised X-Men: First Class promo pic from a few days back, a photoshopping nightmare (that I myself have been guilty of from time to time), I decided to cast my eyes back over some of the most beautiful, surreal and downright strange movie poster art out there - Polish movie posters. They're about as far away as you can get from the typical floating head posters so often utilized by lazy studio marketing departments. Many of you may already be aware of the Polish poster art and it's unique quality. Often baring no direct visual correlation to it's film, the posters interpret themes and sometimes elaborations on the smaller, minute details in their movies. Some are also far superior to the films they represent and unlike the image of two disembodied heads floating invariably above a silhouette of a man running down a road with a gun, I never ever get tired of looking at them. Here are a few favourites, Enjoy!
