10. Swamp Thing

In an age where people genuinely don’t believe in global warming, the Swamp Thing exists as a kind of adult Lorax to remind people to get their act together – to avoid being mutilated by him, if for nothing else.

Aside from Swamp Thing’s parallels to children’s books, he’s also a pretty good way to begin a move into DCEU films that don't revolve entirely around the Justice League. Not only are there two previous Swamp Thing films to learn from, but any of the five volumes of the comic would be perfect for a film adaption.

While making villains like Anton Arcane family-friendly may be a task and a half, it’s more than worth it more the potential a new Swamp Thing film could bring.
