21. Aquaman

Chances Of It Happening: 10/10

Barring a global nuclear war, zombie outbreak or other world-ending catastrophe, James Wan's Aquaman movie will land safely in cinemas this December, the only DCEU flick to release in 2018.

Aquaman has been in development for a few years now (Wan was hired to direct in mid-2015), and will take place after the events of Justice League, following Arthur Curry as he reluctantly rules the underwater utopia of Atlantis.

We all know the DCEU needs another hit, so all eyes will be on Aquaman's performance this December 21. And, to a certain extent, this movie's success (or lack thereof) could be what decides the fate of the many incubating projects on this list.
