The Question: Many are wondering how Deadpool will end up meeting the core X-Men characters, such as Xavier, Magneto and so on. Simply: will Deadpool appear in an X-Men movie, or the other way around? The Likely Answer: The only sensible answer here seems to be to place X-Men characters in a Deadpool movie, because inserting Pool into a PG-13 X-Men film will just result in a neutered version of the character, where he can't swear or do anything graphically violent. Sure, it could perhaps work for a brief cameo if Deadpool's language gets bleeped the entire time as a fun gag, but this would feel tiresome over the course of any sort of substantial appearance. If one or two major X-Men characters had solid supporting parts in Deadpool 2 or beyond, it would help tie the universe together in a meaningful way without diluting the essence of Deadpool. Ryan Reynolds has damn-near confirmed as much already, so things are looking up.
