7. Julian Dennison Is Playing Pyro

The Rumour: With the movie's trailers refusing to identify Julian Dennison's character by an actual superhero name, fans began to speculate that it was for spoilerific, crowd-pleasing reasons. Given the fiery inferno we see him causing in the trailers, why wouldn't he be playing a rebooted version of Pyro?

The Truth: Amusingly, Dennison actually ends up playing Firefist who, while possessing extremely similar pyrokinetic powers to Pyro, has a greater connection to the X-Force in the comics.

Plus, it's an easy way to avoid suffering through even more complaints about the X-Men series' muddied continuity, as introducing a new version of Pyro would annoy the hell out of some fans.
