Deadpool 2: Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

9. Colossus

He may be something of the big metal butt of the joke in both the first movie and its sequel, but Colosssus gets more of a chance to shine in Deadpool 2 and some actual character progression, which makes him one of the better characters in the film.

He effectively begins as 'Pool's sponsor, trying to rehabilitate him (and save him from himself) by giving him a chance to try out for the X-Men and ends up inevitably being disappointed. It's entertaining to see him treated almost like a jilted lover when 'Pool goes to ask for his forgiveness and help, too.

And ultimately, getting to see him take a leaf out of Wade's book and bend the rules a little in his climactic battle with Juggernaut is a great progression for the character.
