5. Liefeld's Just Feet

Here's one for the comic book die-hards out there. As Wolverine and Deadpool prepare to do battle with a fleet of Deadpool variants, behind them is a store called "Liefeld's Just Feet."

This is a nod to Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld, who famously admitted that he can't draw feet, and so typically stages scenes to avoid showing characters' lower appendages.

This has been an ongoing gag for years in comic book fandom, and Deadpool 2 even saw Deadpool casually refer to Liefeld as "a guy who can't draw feet."

This Easter egg was visible from Deadpool and Wolverine's first trailer, and the good-humoured Liefeld wasted no time in expressing his amusement on social media.
