It's been almost two and a half years since the infamous Will Smith/Chris Rock Oscars slapping incident, and we're still getting references to it.

Case in point, when we cut back to Deadpool fighting the TVA soldiers by Wolverine's gravesite, one of them starts badmouthing Ryan Reynolds' home nation of Canada.
This prompts Deadpool to shout, "Take my country's name out of your f**king mouth!" moments before brutally lobbing swords through the guy's head and crotch, because why the hell not?
