16. Mad Max

This is probably the least-subtle Easter egg in the movie, especially considering Deadpool mentions it himself, but The Void is very clearly modelled off the dusty, post-apocalyptic aesthetic of the Mad Max franchise.

Deadpool even cheekily remarks that the similarity is substantial enough to be verging on IP infringement, what with Mad Max being a Warner Bros. property and all.

And in another fun nod to the franchise, Deadpool also refers to Sabretooth (Tyler Mane) as "Furiosa," even parading his decapitated head around as a trophy while referring to "her" as a "Queen."
