3. Gal Gadot's Weak Performance
Though the ensemble cast serves as the movie's primary appeal and largely delivers the wink-wink fun audiences will be hoping for, there is one weak link among the bunch, and that's unfortunately an actor playing a most pivotal part in the story - Gal Gadot.
While Gadot recently proved in Red Notice that she can be a charming and appealing presence in the right role, there's a distracting woodenness to her performance here as wealthy heiress Linnet Ridgeway-Doyle.
She effortlessly fits the glamourous requirements for the part of course - she's Gal Gadot, for Christ's sake - but she struggles to make the dialogue feel naturalistic and believable coming out of her mouth.
It's distracting at times, and though she by no means sinks the film, her flat performance means you might well appreciate the mercifully plentiful times she isn't on screen.
It's far from Razzie-worthy work, but often you might find yourself thinking about a line reading, "That really the best take you had?"
