After making the National Treasure sequel - which remember you CAN watch at launch - Cage teamed back up with Jon Turteltaub for another swing at a family friendly adventure with The Sorceror's Apprentice.
It was considerably less popular than the National Treasure films and it became an embarrassing flop for Disney. Probably because Nicolas Cage is not as iconic as Mickey Mouse, no matter how hard he insists.

Anyway, that debate aside, the film - which actually isn't entirely terrible - is a notable Day One absentee, despite Cage's incredible hair in it.
